So far through 2 weeks, I have been loyally brushing twice a day and running and pump and filter 24/7. The pH rises rapidly each day after I brush up the plaster dust. I have added about 6 gallons of muriatic acid so far in an attempt to keep the pH around 7.

I am definitely looking forward to when I can actually go in and enjoy it!

P.S. Over the winter, I detected a leak in the light fixture in the deep end. The water slowly receded until it leveled off at the light in the deep end. The pool company said the leak would be fixed during the replastering as the surface cures. Does this sound right? I am nervously monitoring the water level.

Sounds right. but.... Watch that water level and let us know. They said it would be fixed, so fixed it should be! Right now you need to flow the warranty requirements for your new plaster.
