My Perflex DE filter tank bursted due to ice because I didn't winterize it (unable to due to health issues). Basically all the pieces are intact but there are many large cracks all over one side. I'm wondering if anyone could comment on the feasibility of using epoxy or gorilla glue or marine fiberglass repair materials to try and seal the tank to make it workable. Everything else looks ok and I'm not in a position to afford a new filter. Any suggestions much appreciated. Please keep in mind that I am aware this would be an uphill battle but since I cannot afford a new filter, I won't be opening the pool this season if repair is not an option. Also a new tank costs as much as I paid for the whole unit two years ago. Thank you.
