Hi,
I'm a new user. I coach a swim team in Connecticut and don't know a large amount about the operation of commercial pools (although I've been in and around them for decades). There is a recurring issue at the facility at which I currently coach. The facility treats it as normal, but I've never seen it before.
Every time the maintenance staff changes the filter media, the pool gets cloudy (and it's usually done right before our team practices). Lately, it's happening about every 10 days (or so). Is that a sign that something is wrong with the filtration system?
FYI, the pool is only about five years old. It's an 8 lane, 25 yard lap pool (7 feet deep end; 3.5 feet shallow end). I don't know what equipment is used.
Thanks.
Coach Dave
