    Default Stuck Back Wash Valve

My Backwash valve has been getting harder and harder to pull up (It's the kind you twist to unlock and then pull up to select backwash mode) so i bought some new o rings and want to replace and lube them. Well, I can't get the valve to come out. It will pull up to the same point as the backwash selection but not any further with all the screws removed.

I tried a little dawn dish soap but that did not help at all.

    Any advise?

I just realized i posted this in the wrong section... I got it fixed though. I used Pam Cooking Spray and it slid out pretty easy. Lower o ring was destroyed. All good now.
