Hi All,
We bought our house 2 years ago with existing pool. And 1 thing I have learned: Never again am I going to spend my time cleaning the DE Filter. I have done this 2x and I have decided that in the future, I will pay someone to do it for me. Anyway, yesterday I cleaned the filter with the help of my teenage son and husband. Once everything was back together it was leaking around the seam. My husband reseated the bell and we cleaned around it and retightened everything and no more water leaks. But the jets are making the same air noise that they make when the water is low. The pool is full, I have turned the water on at the top of the bell to pull water out. And I have turned on the water right above the basket by the pump where I can still see air bubbles. So I don't know what else to try and it is Sunday and my pool store is closed. The only thing I could add is I think we blew out some DE powder after we turned on the pump after reseating it but the pool looks fine now. Also during the clean I replaced 3 of the 7 ribs.
Any Suggestions? Is it still OK to run filter until I can call the store tomorrow?
Janet
