So the Voyager didn't last?
I want a Polaris pool cleaner for my vacuum port in my fiberglass pool. I'm tired of buying pool cleaners that don't last. Any thoughts? Thanks Dave
13000 gallon fiberglass, variable speed pump, cartridge filter, chlorine sanitized ,k-2006, also daily 5 item check ( ch, ph,ta,)
I only trust the k-2006 titration is better for me

I made a lengthy reply swimdaddy on the other post we normally converse on please read that and I think our first question may be answered, however I always wanted a Polaris but they are very expensive hence the Voyager. I am not going to chuck the Voyager as yet.

I have a vacuum side cleaner and was wondering the difficulty in installing a booster pump so I can use a Polaris pressure side cleaner. Thanks much Dave. Im doing this as I cant find a vacuum good enough for cleaning. A vacuum port was installed when the pool was put in

My Polaris 280 has been trouble free for 4 seasons now. I'm hoping this means it will be reliable long term.

I had a Polaris pressure-side cleaner. 165? I still have it but haven't used it in, I guess, 10 years. Used to tangle itself up, valve chambers would clog and if I didn't through a handful of loose cotton in each time all the fine stuff would pass through it.
Then I got a robotic and haven't looked back.

Being from CA and I am assuming somewhat sensitive to energy costs, so yourself a favor and don't get a booster cleaner. There are plenty of cleaners that work without boosters. One of the better ones, IMHO, is ThePoolCleaner. Hayward now owns them and sells their own variant, the AquaNaut but that is a suction side cleaner.
