My husband and I live in Northeast Ohio and we winter in Florida. Last year was a very bad winter here and when we arrived home, because of the amount of snow and extreme cold, there was about 6 inches of ice on top of our winter cover (which had stretched to the point of forming a whole in the cover) I have seen winter covers that appear to have a dome under the cover which eliminates the trench on top of the pool. I am trying to locate one online, but have had no luck. I was wondering if we could simply use more pillows in the pool an stretch the cover so no trench is formed. I figure that way the snow won't accumulate on the cover. Any suggestions?
