Hello, I live in San Juan Capistrano, CA. We are now in our 5th year of drought. Governor Brown has mandated a 28% reduction of water use in the whole state. The City of San Juan Capistrano has entered into STAGE 2 of water conservation. We are only allowed to water 2 days a week. We can not drain our pools for any reason other than a major repair which reducing CYA levels is not considered a repair. There is absolutely no run off allowed for any reason....I am at a loss as my CYA levels are so high that we can't get the PH up and can't get rid of some of the algae. We are spending way to much money on Chorine. If we were to drain our pool and refill it will put us into tier 3 and cost a fortune, not counting the fines associated with the over use of water. Can anyone help us with this conundrum?
