I will be hard wireing the pump soon. After looking over the book and motor plate I see the pump can be run at 110 or 220 so a few questions.
Any advantage to running 220 to the pump ?
Yes. The pump should run a little more efficiently, a little cooler and use less electricity.
Can I run it as a 2 speed by switching between 110 and 220 ?
No. It will have no effect. You need a 2 speed pump to run 2 speeds.
I was gonna move the pump and filter back from the pool about 10 feet and run the plumbing under ground with solar heating any problems with this beside the winter freeze issues ?
I don't see any, but use hard PVC, not TigerFlex underground and be sure you can purge the plumbing of water AND can add anti-freeze for the winter.
24' round 52", Sand filter, 1 1/2 plumbing. 10 psi on gauge after back wash. Not sure of gpm.
I live in E.TN

Thanks in advance
Steve
