Putting up an 18X33 oval above ground pool that was given to us. When I took it down, the skimmer was located on the curved end, just off of the straight side. The return line was about 2' from that, towards the straight side. I'm assuming when I put the wall up, I can start the wall at any upright and control where the skimmer will be located. Is there a preferential location for best operation? Should I try to duplicate the original location? Would it function any different if placed midway, on a straight side? (If I did the middle on the straight side, a 25' vacuum hose could be used to reach either end.) Would the return line towards the middle cause circulation problems for the ends?
