I'm Kathy and I live in Oxford CT. I have an inground 16' by 32' pool with a sand filter. Pool is fairly easy to maintain once I get it set up correctly, right chlorine levels and algaecide. I do seem to get a lot of dead algae on the bottom of the pool and I usually handle that by vacuuming to waste. A few rounds of that and the pool is just standard maintenance after that. We did have a bunch of pine trees near the pool that caused havoc for years, but all those babies got taken down last year so now the needle issue is gone and the pool gets a lot more sunlight.
