Default Filling pool an it's unlevel...

Just started filling our new 22ft pool and there's about 3" of water on one side, 1.5" in the middle, and no water on the other side. Before going any further with filling it should we go ahead and re level the ground under the pool?

Yes, you must. Your pool will collapse being that much out of level. The maximum you can allow is 1" overall. Water is insanely heavy. If your pool is 4' deep, when full you will have nearly 5 TONS of water in it! That's 2 full-sized SUVs.

    Good luck!

Excellent response from Carl. My 20' Intex pool is close to 2" higher on one side than the other and we've not had any issues with it but if I had to do it over I would have spent more time to get it within the 1" as recommended. As Carl said, a 3" differential may pose a problem.

Water will ALWAYS find its on level. Thats what causes floods. You may have low spots in your liner, but a assure you the water does not. Spot NOW .... or U will have a mess.

The most important part is that all the posts are level within 1 inch of each other and you need a laser transit level rented from rental store. The bottom can be a little off but all the tops and bottoms of posts should be within 1 inch.
