Thank you for accepting my registration. I hope you can shed some light on this summer's problem. Last year, we installed new returns and a skimmer line and everything seems to be working well. Lots of suction and good flow. However the water remains cloudy. The chemistry seems fine although I haven't checked the calcium levels. I noticed that the end of my hose fitting which is brass had white crystals adhering to it. Maybe that's a sign of something? It is eating up my chlorine like crazy and am not sure whether to add the CYA? A pool company told me to wait until all is good to do that. Your opinion would be appreciated.
