Default STILL getting air in pump. AAARRRGHHHH!

i'm at the end of my rope here. i've been having air in my hayward super pump for the last year. i just finally got fed up and replaced ALL of the piping leading into the pump, as well as the cover gasket. no difference at all. what are some other candidates? it seems to me that if it's not coming from some place AFTER water enters the pump, then the leak in the system would be leaking at least a little bit of water, but i've got no water leaks at all. i'm getting really frustrated.

ah, the joys of pool ownership. just when you think you know at least something, it turns out that you in fact do not.

the problem was the o-ring on the chlorine tablet feeder, which of course is on the pressure side, after the filter. if anyone can explain how in the world that could be letting air into the system without leaking a drop of water, i would love to hear it.
