Okay, I got my Taylor test kit (k-2006) and started testing yesterday...levels were:

FC-1.5
CC-1
ph-7
TA-75
CY-30

The night before I tested I added about 4 lbs cal hypo and 2 gallons bleach...so after I tested I added 2 lbs cal-hypo and one more gallon liquid bleach and some yellow out to kill algae and also stabilizer, Borax, and BS as per the quantities generated by the Pool Calculator...pool got much clearer by last night and lots of dead algae on bottom. So I tested this morning and here are my readings:

FC-3
CC-4.5
ph-7.2
TA-110
CYA-55

So my FC went up a bit but why is my CC going up so high? What can I do?

BTW I have a 25K in-ground pool vinyl liner...Hayward sand filter and pump...with in-line chlorinator that I am not using currently.
