    Default K2006 results NEWBIE

    So I'm completely new with this Taylor K-2006 test kit and really can't figure out if I need anything. I think mostly I'm good. I have a 38k gallon SWCG gunite pool that needs salt at 3200-3500.
    My readings I think I got them right:
    FC 3.2 (My SWCG recommends only 1-2 but I am not comfortable that low)
    CC 0

    PH = 7.4
    TA = 60 (in the past my TA and PH always ran high, do I add or just wait as I just did muriatic acid yesterday)

    TH = 210 should I get this up?
    CYA = 55

    Is there someplace I could just put it all into and see what I need?

    My water looks clear. The bottom of the pool though has streaks, we tried last year lowering chlorine and using metal outs and such and it didn't change. Sort of like permanent streaks after having acid washing done poorly I think.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

    With the SWCG you should raise CYA to 70-80. With CYA in the 70-80 range your target FC is 6. Your present FC is too low even for your current CYA level.

    Your pH is fine.

    Since I have no experience with plaster/gunnite/concrete pools, I'll have to defer to someone who knows better with regards to TA and TA/CA (Total Hardness/Calcium Hardness) for your pool type.

    This calculator is a handy tool for figuring out what you need;
