    One drop every 2 minutes is not a big deal, I wouldn't worry about it. If it is a problem, it could be the connector you just got from the pool store, if it wasn't leaking before you replaced it. Try buying a similar connector (and probably cheaper one) at a hardware store and see if that is better.

    Still wondering is it better for seals to add more teflon or keep at a minimum??
    Also, thread the connection in all the way, or half way?
