Hey guys and gals! I have an Intex above ground 16'x48" pool. I have used it the past two summers and decided to leave it up this past winter, and all seems ok so far, and am planning on uncovering and getting it ready in a few weeks.. BUt, I HATE that puny cartridge filter system it came with. I would like some advice on a particular sand filter for this pool. I plan on having this pool a few more seasons before going bigger or maybe inground if finances allow. I don't want to spend a fortune on a filter, but want one that works well, and is of decent quality. Also, I am using the intex salt water clorinator, and it has been great so far! I hope to be able to use it with the new sand filter.
