As Winter has set in, I am guessing the water in my pool has not yet completely frozen as I just noticed a large puddle of water on the bottom of the outside wall. I am guessing the liner is leaking. it is only 3 years old, with a good foundation of 3" of sand underneath, so baffled as to how it could be leaking right now. I had previously (2 Months ago) Winterized, by draining to 3" below skimmer as well as putting on the winter cover. The root cause and repair will be determined once spring arrives. Problem is, I need to figure out something to do until spring:
What to do now:
I guess I will somehow pound in pegs into the frozen ground around the perimeter and tie/secure the pool so the walls do not collapse with lack of water.
Should I take off the winter cover ?
Should I keep adding water to keep the walls from collapsing ?
I am in panic mode, as we are entering the great 4 month freeze
thanks
