My pool has been contaminated by monkeys throwing lychee and lychee leaves into it causing the pool cleaner to jam.
Also a lot of leaves from palm trees around my pool.
About three weeks ago the water was perfectly blue but changed to green overnight.
Since then I have on three occasions shock treated the water with three cap fulls of chlorine.
I also used a bottle of "booster" - water still not blue.
I also added stabilizer, acid, and 40 kg of salt for my chlorinator.
A test strip showed chlorine levels, PH, alkalinity and stabilizer to all be within recommended range.
I think possibly it is the yellow/green dust on the floor that give the water a greenish color.
Any constructive suggestions would be appreciated.
