Hi everyone,

I have an in-ground pool and a separate spa with the same pump/heater/filter for both of them (controlled via valves).

My heater took a dump on me a while ago. But, I found someone on Craigslist giving away their heater (same BTU's) for free! I did not see it working there but he did say it worked fine before they disconnected it.

I'm a pretty handy person but want to be careful to not just throw new parts at it until it works again!

It's a Purex Minimax 250 natural gas heater with an electronic ignition.

Normally try to provide as much information as I can in my post to make as easy as I can to those offering to help me! I took some pictures of the front panel showing the LEDs that are lit, the inside of the control panel showing the additional lit LEDs too. But, since this is my first post I don't think I can attach pictures. Once this post is up maybe I can attach the pictures then.

In the meantime I've uploaded them to my website.

Front panel showing LED status lights: http://www.casincat.com/FTP/Front_Panel_Lights.JPG
Inside circuit board with additional LED status lights: http://www.casincat.com/FTP/Electron...cuit_Board.JPG (it's a bit hard to see but all three of the LEDs on the right are on)
Data plate: http://www.casincat.com/FTP/Data_Plate.JPG

I'm normally pretty handy and feel confident that the gas line is plumbed correctly and it's wired to power correctly too. Water pressure I believe is fine (if it wasn't I believe I'd get a different set of status lights).

So, has anyone out there had to deal with this and any pointers on how to get this working?

Thanks in advance!
