    Been lurking for a while now trying to conquer yellow algae problem with pool. Been battling it since July and started to read the posts on yellow algae. Been using Yellow Out or similar products, they work for a while then the algae is back again. Saw the posts on phosphate levels and had that tested today and about 500ppb.

    From what I've seen, yellow/mustard algae requires that you get phosphates down to, I think, 125ppb or lower to keep it under control.
