Question i have two timers which one do I use

    Hello,
I just had a new pool put in with a intellflo varible speed pump powering it,there is a timer on the wall and there also is a timer on the pump itself.
The guy who put it in says you need it and my poolman who takes care of my pool said you don't,so I called pentair and asked them the same question and he told me to disconnect it.
I am thinking maybe the wall timer was put on there first and he thought they were installing a different pump or something, anyway thats where I am at now, need advice please.
    THANK'S

I would do what Pentair said to do. Anything else risks the warranty, I'd guess.
