My new pool is scheduled to be plastered this Thursday and I will start filling with water from both City source water hose and neighbors water well. Is there anything important I need to do as the pool fills? I'm thinking a third hose to help fill faster. Once it is filled I will test chemicals and attempt to get everything balanced.

I have hot tub as well and hear that I should not turn heater on for a month to let plaster cure. Is that true?

Any advice for newbie would be greatly appreciated.
