Default Taking pool down for the winter.

Any advice for take down and storage of our 22' x 52" intex pool. Getting too cool and time to close it down. We decided early in the summer we'd need to take it down and redo our pad under it since we had a lot of washout. Just hoping I don't screw it up for next year. I loved having the pool this summer. Thanks for any help.
We live in Doyline, Louisiana. Have 22' by 52" intex metal frame pool running Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump with 2,500 gph (110-120V).

When we had our much smaller (15') intex, I'd turn the vinyl bag upside down, support it with patio chairs, and inflate it with a couple large fans to dry it before storage.

Wish I had thought of that when I had my Intex donut!

I would scrub it out with bleach, or a dichlor solution, rinse it, then dry it with a ton of old towels, then fold it up and store it in the basement where it was warm and dry.
