8,000 gallon inground vinyl, oval. 3 feet shallow/5 feet deep.

In the spring our 2 year old vinyl liner floated slightly because of some high ground water. When the groundwater receded and we opened the pool for the season, the liner went back into place (no wrinkles on bottom or sides of pool).

However, around the edges of the pool, just under the track, there are spots where the liner is puffy - there is air behind it. It's not happening around the entire pool, but maybe 3 or 4 spots, you can see the liner isn't completely flat against the wall.

Below the skimmer all is well. The puffy liner is happening only above water line and the pool is filled up as high as possible. The liner is also in the track all the way around.

Is this is normal, or should we have a pool tech come out and suck out the air, or is this a DIY procedure?

We've never had problems opening or closing the pool ourselves.

Thanks in advance.
