    Default Getting cold need to close the pool

    It's getting really cold here in CO and it's time to close the pool down. We had a dusting of snow already. I tested the water and was wondering how it looks.
    above ground, about 10,000 gallons, swg, 1600 gph sand filter
    alk = 80
    fc = 9
    cc= 0
    ph = 7.5
    cal = 60
    cya = 40

    This is our first year and I'm not sure that process and could use some help. I read to use some 60% polyquat algaecide, can I get that at walmart? Does anything need adjusted? Thanks much

    Default Re: Getting cold need to close the pool

    There is a stickied thread at the top of this section of the forum with some information about closing an AG pool that should answer most of your questions. If it doesn't after reading it, post further questions here and someone will try and help.
