looking for opinions on winter cover

I need to replace the winter cover on my pool this year and looking for opinions on which brand is the best from past user experience.
My last one. a rip stop type cover lasted 2 years, due to chaffing on a corner of a deck board face, " facia" while wind puffed the cover up and down,wore through.
We have no trees on our yard but there are 2 in the neighbors,one large pine and another leaf tree about 40ft ea away.
No problem with needles or leaves except on windy days so I think I will stay with covering.
Also, a certain colors an issue?
