Aqua Rite SWG is on the way...what are my next steps?

So I ordered a SWG for my pool and it should be here in the next few days. The questions is, do I need to do anything to the pool to prep it? Do I continue all the same maintainacne up until the new SWG is up and running? When do I put the initial dose of salt in? Is it all at once or do I do it over a few days?

You will want to add salt right away so that the water is ready to go for the SWG. It can take a day or two to get the salt level correct. Just don't over shoot the level because then it requires a drain. Put in 80%, dissolve, circulate, measure, re-calculate for the final dose. You will also need CYA unless the pool already has that from using pucks. The same approach is valid, you want to creep up on it so you don't overdose.
