I have registered but cannot do lots of things, like search.
What am I missing please?

When new members initially register, they are at first limited to the "newbie" section of the forum. Until your registration is completed, you won't be able to see the rest of the forum while you are logged in. But, if you want to search, you can use this link but you'll just need to copy it and paste it into a browser window after you first log out. (After your registration is processed, this will no longer be necessary.)
