What I need to know is this: I have an Intex SF70110 with a maximum flow rate of 2150gph, all the accessories I have looked for, side wall skimmer, vacuum, say the pump must have a minimum flow rate of 800gph. We have a 16x32 Intex Ultra Frame pool

It will be less than the rated 2150 because of losses in the tubing and filter. It should definitely be above 800gph. There's probably wiggle room in the 800gph rating as well but the manufacturer probably doesn't want customers with a 350gph pump complaining that the product works poorly.

Thank you very much for your response you gave me exactly the information I needed. Now just for fun can you give me a fairly easy way to clear the air out of the vacuum hose so the pump will work????? :}
Hold it in front of the return jet until you see no more bubbles coming out of the other end and then quickly put it into the skimmer.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, we fought for 1.5 hours and finally gave up. Great suggestion. We will try it immediately
You are welcome!![]()
Sorry nobody told you before. It's an old, well-used and effective technique.
