Default What if someone defecates in pool? Uggg

My grand daughter had an "accident" as she was getting out of the pool last night. There seemed to be nothing floating in pool and it was contained in her bathing suit. I really don't think that it actually got into the pool. But how do you test for it? And what do you do? We have a 32,000 gal salt system pool. Please advise.

If there is no fecal matter in the pool you can see, you merely need to raise the free chlorine level to the recommended shock level for the level of CYA, ie,Stabilizer, in the water. For example, if your CYA level is 30ppm, you need to raise the Free Chlorine level to 15 ppm for at least 24 hours. Then it should be safe.

If Ben, aka, PoolDoc, amends that, follow his recommendation.
