Default Hayward Backwash/Control Valve Causing Leak

On start-up this year I noticed that the recirc and filter positions on the control valve now cause water to leak from the discharge pipe. Is the control valve repairable or does it need to be replaced? It is a 7 position Hayward.

I have a 18"x36" inground vinyl liner pool with a sand filter.

    Welcome to the forum.
Yeah, common problem. Fixable. Need to open it up and replace the spider gasket, some call it a wagon wheel gasket. Do an advanced search of this forum for the terms
    multi-port
    spider
    wagon wheel
There are a lot of threads dealing with the issue. If that doesn't succeed then post back here and we'll help you out.
