Stabilizer question

I posted here before after my 18 by 48 in intex pool became green..i followed advice and my pool is back to crystal clear now..im so happy. but i replaced some of the water and my CYA level is not registering at all..so i added some yesterday by mixing it with hot water to dissolve it and then adding it in front of return jet to distribute it into the pool..so its all dissolved..my question is..how long does it take to fully register on test.. i havent tested it yet cause i dont want to waste my regeant..is it ok to test today..or shhould i wait a few days?

Wait a few days. CYA doesn't dissolve very quickly.
