Sounds like a pretty good plan. Be sure the sand / gravel won't wash out and that the pavers are set on solid ground - not sand or gravel.
Gorilla Floor Padding
Well my question is a simple one to start with can I use gorilla floor padding and sand under a 18*48 ultra frame pool with paver under each leg. I'm glad I found you guy I have been having problem with my pool sitting on pea gravel and being unlevel
