I'll tell you from experience, if you have the cartridge filter, order a couple of the Unicel or Filbur cartridges now. The Intex and "replaces Intex" will not stand up to being cleaned and let lots of fine stuff through. Also, the Taylor K2006 test kit is the best investment you can make in a tool to keeping your pool clean, beautiful and HEALTHY. The filters and test kit are referenced in the link that PoolDoc provided.
