Default Used to have a pool service

I decided to discontinue pool service last year and was doing okay until this summer when I found out the CYA level was too high. Since then, I have been searching the internet for help and found this website.

If your CYA is high, you URGENTLY need to raise your chlorine level. Hopefully, you'll be able to do so before algae gets established in your pool.

    1. Get a local cheap OTO / phenol red drops test kit (Walmart, etc) and add chlorine till you read the DARK yellow range on the kit.

    2. Order a K2006, so you can actually determine what your chlorine level should be (10% of your CYA level), and keep it there. http://pool9.net/tk/ Be sure to watch the videos before you use the kit. Ignore the booklet that comes in the kit.
