Above Ground Pool on top of Sewer Manhole

Would it be ok to put an 18 foot circular pool on top of a Sewer Manhole? I ask because I removed the sod from a section of my yard where I thought there was no obstructions and found a sewer manhole cover about an inch under the sod when I removed the sod and began to rake away all the vegetation.

Don't do it. Not sure if you need a pool permit in your area, but if you do, the placement over a sewer access point would not be allowed.
If you don't need a permit, you could probably do it, but if the town ever needed access to the sewer, they could take your pool down for you...

Find another place for the pool.

Thanks for the response. I contacted the City and they said I can't obstruct the manhole with anything on top of it, but said I would be fine by moving it over a couple of feet. So that is what I'm doing.
