A bunch of our tiles at the top 10" of our gunite pool walls have been slowly falling off due to improper installation and a very cold winter. Now the pool water is cloudy. All the chemicals are in balance and I think that the cloudy water is a result of the cement that was under the tiles slowly leaching into the water. We are going to get all the tiles completely replaced in the late fall. My main concern is that I worry that the water is either bad for our skin or is dangerous to swim in due to whatever is in cement. Any thoughts?
