I have a pool that is bromine and I would like to confirm that I can convert it without draining the pool. A local pool & spa store says a just start to add chorine
Other sites say No way,
Please help
Thank you

The short answer is, no, once a bromine pool, always a bromine pool unless you drain, --- but it's actually not quite that simple.
This is a question that PoolDoc is best able to help you with but he is busy with his family today. Use this link to do a search for "bromine to chlorine conversion and do some reading in the meantime. http://pool9.net/search/
I have asked him to address your question as soon as he has time. May be a little bit til he gets to it, but be patient. He will!
