I have been reading the massive amount of good advice on this forum and decided to join. I am waiting for the pool installer and the weather to cooperate here in South East Texas. I am still debating on whether to go with a SWCG of some other method.
Thanks
Keith

Thanks Carl, you were reading my mind. I did the Intex solid frame pool for 3 yrs so I do have some basic understanding already. I have read tons of info on this site too. I tend to trust the subject matter experts here rather than some one trying to sell me a bucket of stuff to stick in my pool.
Go ahead and order a good kit so you'll have it when you are ready for it. Taylor K2006 or 2006C (better buy) is the one we recommend. You won't be able to find it locally but can get it through this link:> http://pool9.net/tk/
Our startup 'recipe' is a good way to start up a freshly filled pool. Read about it here:> http://pool9.net/ssr/
