New guy fed up with pool store

Just like the title. I'm sure it's been said a million times here!
But it's been building for a while now.
We have a 24' 4.5' deep round Hayward pool. Been about 6-7 years now. And poll store here has me using just tricolor tabs in a auto feeder and EZ-pool. And every time I have a problem they just tell me to add more EZ-Pool!
Until this year we had a heavy case of white water mold and pink slime! And they first stated that they had never heard of it!!! Really I'm the first?!
Well they said I just need to super clor the pool, and sold me a $25 gallon of shock! When I got home I just so happened to have a gallon of bleach in garage and low and behold!
This is from the store that says you will ruin your pool if you add house hold bleach to your pool!!!

That's when I started studying for myself and ended up here!
