Aqua Trol T cell requirement

I have a 24 feet above ground pool (circular) with a depth of 52". What T-cell type is required for this type of pool.

Aqua trol; RJ model installation shows a vertical installation against the pool wall being held in place through the return line on the pool wall. Can it also be installed in a horizontal position (current ABS plumbing set-up) without causing a problem
