Boxer #100 adhesive in cans with a dauber. The glue that comes with the patch kits is agressive and tends to curl the patch pretty quick. Boxer is slow acting and gives you time to place and squish it properly.

Think we kept some liner and will get adhesive and double patch with adhesive you suggested! Thanks!

We patched a couple of small holes with the underwater kit last summer. (That was a hoot! My hubby is a big man but he couldn't stay down in the water long enough to do the job. He kept floating up! I had to hold him down with the rubber sweeper so he could do it.)

Anyway...I read with interest about using the Boxer adhesive and the curling edges with the usual adhesive. I noticed this year that the patch material (originally clear) is now visible. Is it too late to cover it again with liner material and the Boxer stuff?

    Thanks.

    No,
Just make a patch that's much larger using some scrap liner material.
