    Default First post :)

Just wanted to join forum because I am researching for a new pool and have found endless amounts of useful information here thanks!
So far we are 95 % sure we want the Moroccan leisure fiberglass pool, but haven't decided on salt water or chorine just yet...

    Welcome to the Pool Forum!

You do understand that salt water pools are still chlorine pools, right?

We kind of think it is a good idea for people to learn to manage their chemistry manually the first year so they will have a better understanding of how it all works before adding an SWCG the next year if they decide they want it. But, either way you decide to go, we'll be here to help as much as we can.

You can use this link to search. It will search the entire forum and also over on our sister website www.poolsolutions.com.

(Until your registration is complete, you won't be able to follow that link or see the rest of the forum while you are logged in. So, copy the link and paste it into a browser window after you first log out.)

Yes, I did realize that. I've done quite a bit of research. It's confusing though, lol. The first place we went to told us you can't do swg in fiberglass pools (we got out of there pretty quick as I knew this was false.) The second place said they do swg almost exclusively because it's so much better and easier. And the third place said they won't at all because the salt water is too corrosive to coping and surrounds (they also sell chlorine supplies.)
    So I guess I need a fourth opinion! :-/

Thanks for the help. This website is amazing! Is my registration complete, or do I need to do something else?

Nothing else you need to do on your end. Shouldn't be long and we'll have you fully registered. (We have been slammed with new members lately and it just takes a little time to get them all processed all the while trying to help the people who are already members with their questions.)
