    Another option -- admittedly a bit of a handy-man trick -- is to make and mount a screen under the light, that would shadow the pool.

    This what I use to cover my pool. Admittedly, there is no real convenient way to handle that big of a piece of vinyl, but this is easier than anything else I have used previously.

    Thanks, I'll have to look into it more, but anything has to be better than trying to help my husband put a cover on. Talk about away to get aggravated at each other lol!

    Know what you mean....I pull my pool cover over from the inside and float it across (my round pool) on floaties, then step out and pull it the rest of the way and tie it down. Makes it easier for one person and I don't have to ask for help. I just make sure I leave it where I can reach it without getting out of the pool.
