    Default Hi All!

24' Imperial Harmony Aqua Leader AG Pool
1 HP Pentair pump with Hayward Sand Filter

This is my 3rd pool over the years, and it came with the Frog mineral system, which I hate. I'm going to straight chlorine as it's easier, cheaper and more effective.

I just purchased my first robotic cleaner (a Pool Rover Junior) which should arrive Wednesday. Anyone with experience with it? I have used a KreepyKrauley suction cleaner in the past and still have one, but I thought I'd try this for a change.

I've been looking at this forum off and on for years...good to be back!

Welcome to the Pool Forum! Don't know anything about the Pool Rover, but someone here may.

Good decision to ditch the frog. But, if you have used it for awhile, you may have metals in your water (complements of the darn frog!) that you may need to deal with.

I have slightly high copper which should be OK. I have used the BBB method for years in the past, and it's so much easier, cheaper an effective.

Sorry that it has been several days since anyone got back to you. Having high copper may not be ok. Most people think it is chlorine that causes staining and makes blonde or light-colored hair turn green but it is copper that does so.
