    Give the Barracuda series a try. I bought a used one off of Craigs List after my Hayward Navigator died and its 1000% better.

    No moving parts and a new diaphram costs less than $15, it cleans up to the water line where the old Hayward was costing me $75 a year in overhaul parts and only cleaned the bottom of the pool.
