OK, chlorine first.
Now pH; but both Borax and bicarbonate are listed as adjusting agents, one place or another.

I've drained and refilled my 13,000 gallon in ground swamp, added chlorine to > 10 ppm, have clear water and 7.0 pH. Pump is out being serviced.

Please point me to the next step.

What kind of chlorine did you add? Ingredients, please and not just a product name.

What kind of kit do you have?

Add a couple of cups of Borax. Since you don't have a pump you can sprinkle it around the pool or dissolve it in water and then pour that around the pool.

How long will you be without a pump? You can keep your pool from turning green by adding some bleach. I had to do that a couple of years ago when we had a huge storm and were left without power for a full week. I just poured it in and we stirred it around the best that we could.

At this point, with a CYA of 80, you won't want to use any more dichlor or CYA. You can use cal-hypo for a little while if you still have it left but will want to monitor your CH reading. You don't want it to get too high. Your best bet is to just use plain, unscented bleach.

For a CYA of 80, you'll see that you want to always keep your chlorine between 5-10ppm. Letting it drop below that is an invitation to algae. You'll probably want to bump the chlorine up a little this morning so you don't drop too low today.

The pH, TA are both just fine. You don't need any Borax or baking soda at this point.
