    Unhappy Newbie problems

We purchased a house that has a 33 x 52 round above ground pool The thing has been the biggest money pit in the world because they local pool company has screwed us over and over again. We had to install a new liner and refill the pool which we just finished. We filed it using just our hose and it took about four days. At first the water was looking good as it was going in. Then we had rain and then move rain. Right after the first rain the pool turned cloudy and is still that way. I have been using acid, shock, ph up and other stuff but just can't seem to get it cleared up. Can anyone give me some pointers on what to do? Can't trust the local pool company so don't have a lot of places to turn for help.

    Thank you in advance

How long ago did you fill it? Exactly what all have you put in the pool meaning ingredients and not just names like 'shock'? What kind of test kit do you have? What size is your pump (hp) and what kind and size of filter? (If sand, how many lbs. of sand?)
